Can I get these pens in other colors or woods?
YES! I take special requests, although they do take longer to ship--usually 2 weeks but in certain circumstances, I can get them to you earlier. I also can do multiples for things like brides maids gifts or groomsmen gifts. Please allow at least 3 -4 weeks for these.
How long does it take to make a pen?
Anywhere from 3 hours for a very simple style to a couple of days for a more complex, layered style. I usually allow 24 hours for the glues to set but sometimes certain styles can be turned sooner.
How did you get into pen making?
Blame it on my husband! We were out one day and I saw some pretty acrylic blanks and asked what they were for. Once I saw how it was done, I couldn't wait to get started! It has become my new obsession.
